Because it tests and improves their supply chain knowledge and skills, it also challenges them to be a creative problem solvers.

The following are the project’s main objectives

  • Prepare your data for profiling by creating a standardized data model, conducting a gap analysis, and implementing a data profiling tool.
  • Design a supply chain using SCOR to standardize your structure and enable interconnectivity and interoperability.
  • Design functions for supplier management, inventory management, production planning, procurement, etc.

Students will also become more confident in their ability to solve real-world problems through hands-on experience. Furthermore, the project will allow students to develop a real-world network of contacts that they can leverage in the future to pursue better employment. Ultimately, the capstone project is a perfect example of a collaborative, real-world learning experience.
